John Frieda Full Repair... the answer to my hair-mare?

Wednesday 15 August 2012

As some of you may know, this year has been a hair-mare for me!

Back at the beginning of last year, after 5 years of having a bob, I decided that I would grow my hair and have long luscious locks... Well... if any of you have ever had the same thought as me you will be fully aware that it is not this straight forward.

Over the last 18 months I have been through a roller coster hair wise, for the most  parts  I have been patiently waiting for the precious inches to grow whilst supporting an extremely annoyingly unflattering length. To cut a long and boring story short, I have found it very difficult to try new styles. I have been so used to having a short tailored bob that I don't really have any experience in styling longer hair!

over the last 6 weeks I have been making more of an effort to try new looks with my hair and learn what looks good on me.

I had a go in a previous post here

To my saving grace, I was recently introduced to John Frieda Full Repair Range, which is a range of products that are designed to 'Protect your hair against heat damage, without weighing it down, so it's the perfect range to use if you are trying to achieve a light, natural look for summer styles.'

Two Great things have come out of this discovery for me, the first being the products themselves. I have used many different products over the last 6 weeks, trying to achieve a healthy volumous look but this range is by far the best that I tried and  feel that it is protecting my hair ready for my long luscious locks I WILL have one day!

The second great discovery is the tutorial videos that John Frieda have done to show you how to use the products for both every day looks and also more glam looks.... AMAZEBALLS!

Here are my favorite videos.

Have you tried John Frieda Full Repair?

Let me know what you think!
